ESPOO, KUITINMÄENTIE 29

The Friisinkeskus project is located in the busy, well established retail area of Finno in Espoo. Originally built in 1998, the one user retail shop with open parking on the ground floor, was converted into a modern two story car dealership. A change in the city plan was required to increase the building area from 2000 sqm to 3550 sqm.

The ground floor was rebuilt and insulated with new outside walls and a glass facade.  The whole building was object to a complete renovation and refurbishment. No remarkable changes in the original concrete frame was needed. The walls are constructed with steel plated elements with glass inserts in the facade.
